I utilize the skills, knowledge and insights I have developed over the past 40 years as a licensed clinical social worker, advocate, founding Executive Director, program developer, government contracts manager, grant writer, problem-solver, trainer, team-builder and mentor to assist nonprofits.

Key Accomplishments Include:

Successfully raising millions of dollars from government and other sources to support new programs, enhancements and infrastructure support including over $6 million from the US Office of Refugee Resettlement, $1 million from the NYS Non-profit Infrastructure Fund and over $30 million from the NYC Administration for Children’s Services

Achieving significant public policy and budgetary change on the city and state levels

Leading effective efforts to involve community members in advocacy

Successful submission of license applications related to the provision of Medicaid managed care services to children and families

Building, managing and training a team that managed a portfolio of over 40 government contracts totaling over $50 million

Developing the first training and technical assistance programs on the treatment and prevention of sexual violence approved and designated by the New York State Department of Health

Founding Executive Director of an organization dedicated to addressing sexual violence as a public health and human rights issue
